Yoga & Mindfulness Sessions Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to Betsy Reed Yoga Classes, Mindfulness Sessions, Events, Workshops, Retreats and Teacher Trainings.
They’re pretty straightforward and are strict, so Betsy can continue to be kind and focused on delivering great classes, events and training. She promises to be committed and consistent, so requires the same of those she works with. Terms and conditions are:
Bookings & payment
All of the services listed above must be pre-booked and prepaid by bank transfer or via the booking site Bookwhen, when that is where the event appears for booking.
Cancellations for Workshops or Events less than 24 hours in advance will incur the full fee.
Cancellations for Private Yoga or Mindfulness sessions less than 12 hours in advance will incur the full fee, and less than 24 hours in advance will incur a 50% fee.
Cancellation of online yoga classes less than 2 hours in advance will incur the full fee, and classes must be booked at least 4 hours in advance.
Class passes: 3 Class Passes may be used for up to 30 days from the date of purchase; 10 Class Passes must be used within 70 days of the date of purchase. Any classes from either Class Pass unused within the required period cannot be carried over and will be forfeited.
In the event of prolonged illness or an injury for a client, Betsy Reed Yoga will review refunds of pre-paid service on a case-by-case basis.
Liability
Betsy Reed Yoga works exclusively with certified yoga teachers and always ensures high-quality yoga, mindfulness and meditation classes and other sessions. Even so, a Student agrees to take on any risk of injury or mental stress by taking part in a class or session. By participating, the Student accepts this risk of an injury. Betsy Reed Yoga provides the following guidelines for reducing the risk of an injury or mental stress:
Always consult a doctor before starting yoga classes if you are not sure that you are completely healthy or if you are pregnant.
If you are concerned about your mental health, consult a mental health professional before participating in yoga, mindfulness or meditation sessions.
If you have an injury or any other physical inconvenience, always inform your yoga teacher about this before starting the yoga class.
Listen to and follow the instructions of the yoga, mindfulness or meditation teacher.
Perform the yoga exercises carefully and bear your physical limitations in mind.
Do not perform any yoga exercises that are painful.
Ask questions if you do not understand an exercise or instruction.
